Salvation Invitation

What is Salvation?

Salvation means to be saved from sin. Sin breaks God's law. The penalty of sin is spiritual death and separation from God for eternity. Sin was brought into the world through the first man "Adam," by his transgression. Every person born after Adam is essentially born into sin and separated from God. You might call this "inherited sin." There is also personal sin which each person commits individually. In order for us to be reconciled to God, our sins must be forgiven.

Why Salvation?

God created us to live in relationship with Him, without that essential relationship, we will always feel that something is missing in our life. Sin stands between us and God. As long as sin remains, we are forever separated from Him.

But I'm A Good Person...

ROMANS 3:23- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

ROMANS 3:10- As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;

ROMANS 5:12- Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came    to all people, because all sinned—

 Salvation cannot be obtained by simply performing "good deeds" or "acts of kindness." God's salvation requires a payment be made for sin. This is something we cannot do for ourselves.  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.  Ephesians 2:8-9

Fortunately God made a way!

Why Jesus?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life- John 3:16. Jesus died on the cross for you. His sacrifice on the cross was a payment for your sins so that you would no longer have to live separated from God and die a spiritual death. Accepting or "receiving" the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior is believing that He died for you and paid the penalty for your sin. Placing your personal trust in His death is God's only requirement for salvation.

Are You Ready To Accept Jesus As Your Personal Savior Today?

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in youheart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ROMANS 10:9.
