The idea to develop Be Courageous Be Strong came to him on one of his early morning walks. He was reflecting on his recent divorce, the reality and pain of the situation and the daunting thought of starting over alone. In the midst of the heaviness, his heart was lightened as he reflected on the loving and supportive friends that God placed in his life. He thought, "If it were not for their love and prayers, I don't know how I would have gotten through it." In that moment he pondered, "There are probably many people who don't have a network of people speaking into their lives, but what if there was a website they could visit that offered that kind of hope and support?" That is how Be Courageous Be Strong was born.
